On February 24, 2008 Electronic Arts hosted a fun, family event in which a Dream Team of 8 Wish Kids took on EA staff, corporate sponsors and sports stars including Lyle Green from the BC Lions. The teams went head to head on EA Canada’s latest NHL 08 on Xbox 360.

The NHL 08 CHALLENGE is an annual event in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC/YK. Family and friends enjoyed a day of fun, food and video games. Fabulous gifts and prizes were raffled off throughout the day with all proceeds going to help grant the special wishes of children with life- threatening illness.

And the final tally was: Dream Team 107 Challengers 53. Way to go wish kids!!!

The glow of candles glimmering in the winter dark reflects the warmth of thousands of wishes made with the lighting of each candle. More than $14,000 was raised at this wonderful annual event.
