Be A Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of BC & Yukon. Volunteers help grant wishes in many ways and are matched to positions based on ability, interest, and position availability. Our local BC office has a small number of paid staff and relies on volunteers to help with fundraising events, speaking engagements, resource development and the granting of wishes.

Volunteering with our chapter is very ad hoc. There are no positions that require a weekly or regular time commitment.

At this time we are looking for volunteers who speak either Punjabi or Mandarin in the Surrey/Fraser Valley area.

Basic Requirements: Volunteers working on events or with children must complete a criminal record check. You must be over 19 to help with events and over 21 to grant wishes. If you are younger and want to help please see our Kids For Wish Kids Program .
